Our CSL Columbia/Greater Baltimore Board of Trustees selected Columbia Community Care as the recipient of our November 2025 Doing Good by Giving Goods Outreach Ministry.

Columbia Community Care started small in 2020 with the onset of COVID and the closing of schools. It now feeds 300-400 families a week. Their vision is "a community that is healing centered, self-determined, collectively powerful and economically independent through partnership and collaboration."

Here’s a list of requested items. Please bring donations to each Sunday service in November.

Food:

  • Canned Proteins: Tuna, Chicken, Ham, Vienna Sausages, Spam
  • Canned Goods: Beans, Tomatoes, Corn, And Fruits
  • Canned Soups: Chili, Stews, Ready-To-Eat Meals
  • Rice, Dried Beans
  • Pasta And Pasta Sauces
  • Ramen, Cup-A-Noodles, Mac & Cheese
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly
  • Cold And Hot Cereals
  • Granola Bars, Individually Wrapped Cookies and Snacks
  • Juice Boxes and Shelf-Stable Milk

 Personal Items:

  • Diapers (Sizes 3-6), Pull-Ups (All Sizes) And Baby Wipes
  • Toothpaste
  • Bar Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Disposable Razors
  • Feminine Hygiene

 

Columbia Community Care CAN NOT ACCEPT:
