Joseph Campbell said:

“People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life…I think what we’re really seeing is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our innermost being and reality, so that we can actually feel the rapture of being alive.”

We search for meaning in life, which motivates us to reach higher, push farther, but when the dust settles, we realized that life has no meaning accept to be Itself. It is the meaning which we give life, which determines our soul experience.
