Adaptability in Oneness

Facebook is a funny thing. Last week, we prepared to take our community online and continue to deliver our weekly service through Facebook live. Everything worked beautifully during our testing earlier in the week; however, Sunday morning, there were communities all over the world trying to hold virtual services and the technology we tried did not work. For those of you who were able to hang in there and refresh your screens on the Columbia CSL Facebook page, you were gifted with seeing Rev. Brian display an act of faith and true belief and conviction in our science of mind principles. While everyone was scrambling to find a fix, Rev. Brian stated calmly, “I will not allow us to find a solution in panic.” He dropped in to prayer, re-centered, and delivered his message. If you missed it…

Last Sunday we had some technical difficulties.  Everything worked beautifully during our testing earlier in the week; however, Sunday morning, there were communities all over the country trying to hold virtual services and the technology we tried did not work.  If you were able to hang in there and refresh your screen on the Columbia CSL Facebook page, Rev. Brian was able to stream an affirmative prayer and his message.  If you missed it, you can go back and see it here or under the Video section of the Columbia CSL Facebook page.

This week, we’ll come to you via Zoom,  https://zoom.us/j/368181355 as Rev. Brian discusses “Nurturing the Goodness of Humanity.”  Rev. Brian will discuss what it means for all of us to embrace the part we play in cultivating communities, societies, systems, cultures and relationships in which the Goodness of our Humanity is exalted, uplifted, courted forth and valued. (Sort of timely, right?)

In addition, Rev. Brian and Kimberly have been hosting Oneness (Distance) Socials, or Zoom Connections, as an opportunity to get together, check in and hang out. All are welcome!  Our next opportunity will be this Saturday, March 28 from 11-12noon.  Keep an eye out for future hang-out times to be posted on our Facebook Page, through Oneness emails and on our website, www.OnenessCSL.com/events.

As we try to navigate the world in a new way, remember social distancing does not mean you’re alone.  Oneness Community is here for you as much as possible.  We encourage you to reach out to your teams, to members of your small groups and ministries and to other members of the community if you have their contact information.  Also, our Practitioners are here for all of us.  Here’s a list of Oneness Practitioners that are eager to know a greater Truth and available to pray with you – please send any one of us an email or phone call.
